What Appointment?

Got up early today thinking the delivery guys from Sears would be calling, then bringing my new washer and dryer. They'd called last Thursday to make sure I'd be home all day today.
Ok, good.
I purposely chose Thursday for two errands and a meeting in anticipation.
When I woke this morning, the Sears guy had already left a phone message around 7 a.m. He'd forgotten that they only do deliveries to my town on Thursdays.
Pfft.
Do you think that dawned on him yesterday? It would have helped - just a tad - had I had a little more notice than the morning of!
The only positive - At least the back porch is cleaned up and ready.
