Alzheimer's: It's a disease of the brain the affects the cells. It will get worse over time, and ends in death. It's so harsh, yet so common that most of us know someone who has it to some degree. You can visit the Alzheimer's Association to learn about the differences between the forgetfulness that comes with normal aging and the severe memory loss that is one of the signs of Alzheimer's. There is a wealth of information in the Alzheimer's pdf booklet if you suspect a loved one might be showing any symptoms.

Team captains: Get their own website for the fundraiser, guides on being a captain and setting goals. Start a team with friends and family and coworkers. Just a little time and few miles in sturdy shoes can make a huge impact on Alzheimer's.
