Bowling for Birthdays

Yesterday the whole family went to the bowling alley to celebrate Cuz's and G-ma's birthdays. The eight of us played two games on two lanes and took turns chasing after baby Cole, who gives a new meaning to the word mobile.
By the end of the second game, we could really tell that we weren't wearing Air Jordans. It could have been the fact that some of us hadn't bowled in eons, but most of us were gimping around in those bowling shoes looking as if some members of our family tree didn't walk upright.
Arch supports should be one of the Wonders of the World. You don't miss 'em till you don't have 'em.
The young ones must have not minded, because they've now made plans for spending the night and going bowling again. I guess we Neanderthals got them hooked.
