A Surprise Birthday Locket

Cuz's birthday is coming up and the family is celebrating her and G-Ma's this weekend!
I absolutely cannot wait to give Cuz her present...

It was delivered in a bubble pack, inside a black box nestled in a white box. Polishing cloth included. The only thing I need now is a bow.

Other than the fact that it's painfully obvious I need a new digital camera (these were taken on my camera phone) ...
Isn't this gorgeous? I uploaded one of the photos the girls took of themselves this New Years Eve. Kiddo has an 8 x 10 version in her room and Cuz had said she wanted one, too. So she gets the teeny version in a locket.
This sweet little locket came from Pictures On Gold. They have charms, crosses and celtic jewelry. I didn't even know such a thing existed till I browsed the website, but they carry MP3 watches, also.
Though I couldn't get a good picture of the back of the locket, we had it engraved. "Cousins 2007". The left side is blank, and it's Cuz's choice, but I think it would be cool if she put a picture of Cole on that side, then the cousin locket would be complete.
I couldn't be more please with the way this turned out. I can't wait to start Christmas shopping. Pictures On Gold will be one of the websites on my list.
