Open Letter to Kroger-NOT a Good Thing
This in not a good thing...not written by Martha Stuart
The self-checkout might be a good thing from corporates' point of view. Corporate, or at the very least the shift manager thought it would be a good thing to save $7.00 an hour by having only one check-out lane open instead of two.
Several customers did not think it was a good thing. Several customers, including myself, went over their allotted cuss words for the day because they thought they save some time and DIY instead of standing in line.
Where is it posted that self check is 15 items or less?
Where is it posted that bagged groceries should remain on the platform, or the machine has an aneurysm?
How were we supposed to know that the self check is so fickle, a purse will inadvertently affect the scales?
Why doesn't the customer service lady on look out doesn't come and tell the customer these things until said customer is so frustrated, she may not even come back?
