Camera for Christmas, Please

It's never too early to start dropping hints! Y'all know I'm sick to death of the two digital cameras we have. Lately every picture that's been posted on this blog has been taken on my Samsung cell phone.
And the pictures are better than the Vivitar.
Sad, I'd say.
I realize I'm becoming addicted to the camera phone. Just last evening at dusk Kiddo says "Mom, get your phone, your moss roses are looking really good out by the patio.
See, she knows me.
The pink flowers were super vivid in the dwindling light, but I didn't get a shot then. So here is a moss rose bud this morning.
As an added bonus I'm including a shot of brown-eyed susans that grew despite being mowed over ...twice
