Random Observations about BUGS

The ongoing saga of the Country Mouse:

Did you know...
There are no lightening bugs (fireflies) in Louisiana?
(When we got to Indiana and were living with my folks, Ziggy discovered the fun and
fascination of chasing, leaping and chomping them out of the air.)

Crickets are plentiful. Ziggy thinks they taste like chicken.

I have learned...
There are very few mosquitoes in the city.
(It took a few evenings to realize something was missing, and couldn't quite place it. Something aggravating. The enjoyability of sitting outside has risen tenfold)

There are three slugs that roam (slither, slink, slime ??) the warm cement patio after dark.
We've yet to name them.
